Getting Around There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.

I am always looking for photos or documents, so ...
If you want to mail anything my address is: 1049 Margaret Street
Saint Paul, MN 55106 Riepe family reunion did not happen in 2009. So send any photos or
information, then we can share them at the next gathering. Hopefully in 2010. Maybe we
can plan around a Graduation or a significant birthday. Kolb-Henderson-Olson Family Reunion June 27, 2008 was in Dexter,
MN. I was unable to attend. But I understand a good number of relatives were
there and many, if not all, had a great day. We hope to see you in 2010, the
Saturday after Father's day. There has been no plans for a 2009 Reunion. Please bring
a dish to share and provide your own plates, utensils, and beverages.
I have a one year membership to Tribalpages. The membership is due July
19th. I have increased from 250 photos to 1000 photo limit, the cost is $29 for the
yearly membership. Enjoy. Let me know if you can help me pay for this years
membership and to pay for documents.
If you want the database to print a family tree I can e-mail it to
you.
Kolb
tree starts in Hohenzell,
Germany and then continues in Retzstadt,Germany. Phillip Kolb came to USA in 1890.
Phillip went to Festina, Iowa where he met Theresia Wallentiny. They moved to Melrose
and then settled in Austin, Mn. Kolb Bakery in Austin stayed open from 1936 until 1972.
Which happens to be 100 years from Phillip's birth year. I hope to start a Kolb Bakery
web-site someday. When I went to Germany in 2003, Hans(an e-mail pal) met me at the
airport and took me to Retzstadt, Germany where my great grandfather Philip Kolb was
born. This friend has been researching archives only since May 10, 2006 and hit a
jackpot of relatives in the area north of Wurzburg. Kolb families have lived in
Retzstadt, Germany back to the 1500's and before that in Hohenzell.
Minar tree starts in New York
and our branch moved from New York to Iowa then MN in the 1870's. Read how Christian
Myndert "Miner" during the Revolutionary War was captured by "Indians" headed by a
Tory, but managed to escape and was able to continue farming.
Riepe
tree starts in St.Peters, MO. Frank and brothers moved to Minnesota, where Frank
married into the Bryne family. Riepe families lived in Ada, Appleton, Madelia
and Perham. Frederich Riepe came thru Baltimore from Germany in 1872. I have input
Eggers connection to Laura Ingalls-Wilder family. I am willing to add more.
Byrne tree came over from
Dublin in 1908, settled in Volga, Iowa. Then they moved to Ada, MN in 1914. At www.ellisisland.org type in Robert-Byrne-1868
and you can see the ship manifest. There is evidence that Katherine (sic)was from the
Martin family in Carrickmacross,Ireland in Monaghan county about 70 miles
northwest of Dublin. When Irish eyes are smiling... Hopefully I can travel there
someday. I would love to take a trip from Ireland to New York like they did over 100
years ago.
I want to thank my family and everyone that has corresponded
with me about family information, this website would not be possible without
all your input. I especially thank those on Ancestry.com or Rootsweb.com,
thank you for sharing. I hope to give back by sharing this website with others.
